In the modern world we see lots of posts. Post-modern. Post-capitalist. Post-structuralist. Post-date. Posthaste. Ex post facto. Yada-yada-yada. To me the post can as well be chopped away, leaving us doing just fine with the predicate, and the predicated. Modern. Capitalist. Structuralist. I understand that some may sincerely desire to move beyond their eponymous forbearers. I just don’t think that many of them have succeeded.
